The Norr11 Le Roi Bench Dark Smoked Ash is made with inlaid natural French rattan. 'Le Roi' is the French word for King, and the series is a minimalistic interpretation of rattan furniture from the French colonial time, merged with well known Scandinavian furniture archetypes, such as the three-leg circle table and the rectangular bench.
Le Roi is constructed as a frame geometry of solid ash, with natural French rattan mounted with traditional methods. The tactile French rattan creates a translucent surface, which highlights the beautiful and simple construction.
