As an avid gym-goer (well at least x1 a month pre-lockdown, hardcore I know!) I've been amazed at how people's attitudes to the gym and their lifestyle have changed over the course of this enforced confinement. Whilst it is still too early to see the full impact that will be felt across the global fitness industry as gyms reopen, there is also an amazing flipside with the rise of very cool newly interior styled home gym equipment and accessories coming to the market.

People now realise that their homes are truly their castles and should be areas that are furnished to keep them healthy, bolstered, in control of life, and just because you can't get to the gym doesn't mean you can't workout in serious style.

We spent some time this week checking out these awesome brands and their equipment as part of an interior review of what is on the market (note: these are simply a celebration of all things design related).

We find cool stuff, we share cool stuff, that's it...

LUXURY WORKOUT EQUIPMENT:

Some of these brands are quite literally delicious, and we want to just stare at them and not touch the equipment (but that kind of defeats the purpose).

1. Kenko

kenko‘s concept for health and fitness champions the purity of minimalist design, form, and function, cork, walnut wood finishes and geometric shapes literally have us in starstruck designer heaven.

With dumbbells, ab rollers, bags and complete workout sets, they also provide concept design and work with other designers to create the most awesome gym set ups for both private and commercial clients. I think you will agree these are some seriously good looking items.

Their website also has some beautiful imagery that we love and feel inspired by + they have some great people distributing their product globally.

3. Tom Dixon Weights

Not to be outdone, the epic Tom Dixon UK brand have also elevated the every day dumbbell to a thing of beauty with the 'Rock Weight' made purely from marble. The pattern and texture of each dumbbell is entirely unique depending on the block of marble it was carved from, which creates an individualistic quality in every product and makes us smile, it is a classic.

4. Furious Goose Yoga Mats

We are simply loving this brand and their funky patterned and colourful yoga mats. The great thing about interiors are that if you have a neutral base palette then you can go wild in the aisles with some interchangeable accessories such as these amazing mats.
